An intelligent layer over the whole platform
AI in iDomino isn't a separate product but an intelligent layer running through the whole platform - from maintenance and action plans to audits, controlled documentation and complaints. Nine areas of use, one principle: every output has a traceable source and a human always has the final word. Technologically we build on AI from Microsoft and can connect to the client's own AI.
Connected to real production data
AI across the whole platform
Nine areas where modern AI tools do concrete work - from company memory and real-time translation to methodology checks and reading documents. In each of them, the human is the one who decides.
Best Practices
An AI agent walks you through a structured problem analysis and helps you find the root cause. It stores verified solutions in a shared company library and then recommends from it. A virtual senior process engineer always on hand.
Open →Live data translation
AI translates all user-generated content in the platform in real time into 15+ languages. International teams each work in their own language over the very same record - the end of the language barrier on the floor.
Open →Defect reduction
AI detects scrap anomalies in real time - a sudden spike as well as a slow, creeping trend - and alerts the right person with context before the impact grows. Pilot operation, release planned for autumn 2026.
Open →Action Plan
An optional AI methodology guide checks that the methodology is applied correctly (5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA) and teaches solvers right at work. It never decides or proposes the solution - it only checks the procedure. You can switch it off for the whole plant at any time; control stays with the team.
Open →Analytics
AI analytics of recurring problems groups reports by meaning, breaks causes down by Ishikawa 6M, quantifies downtime and scores action plans on a PDCA scale of 0 to 100. From thousands of reports you get named, quantified problems.
Open →Production management
AI right on the shift: reading the first piece's serial number from a photo and identifying recurring problems from reports. The number read and every suggestion are always confirmed by a human.
Open →Complaints
AI imports a complaint from a document (PDF, Word, Excel or image up to 20 MB) to pre-fill the report and suggest tasks. For a supplier 8D report, AI checks compliance with your standards and drafts the text of the closing D8 discipline.
Open →Audits (AMS)
AI generates the final audit report - it summarizes findings and recommendations for both the auditor and the administrator and helps uncover causes and set actions. The feature is optional.
Open →DMS
AI search across controlled documentation: ask in a plain sentence and the system finds the semantically matching document - and the version that is actually valid. It searches inside PDF text too, and on top of that summarizes and classifies changes between versions.
Open →AI you can trust
Only on your data
No generic answers from the internet. The AI draws on your history, your SOPs and your audits. Your data stays in your environment.
Always with a traceable source
Every recommendation and every chart has a trail. You see who solved it, when and with what result. At an audit you have a documented chain of decisions.
A human decides
AI proposes, people approve. The AI doesn't write to production systems. AI features are optional and can be switched off - the modules still work in full without them.
Frequently asked questions
An intelligent layer on top of production data that runs through the whole platform. Besides three standalone AI modules (Best Practices, Live-data translation and Defect reduction), AI also helps in the Action Plan, Analytics, Production management, Complaints, Audits (AMS) and controlled documentation (DMS) - nine areas of use in total. All connected to your production, audit and documentation data.
The standalone Best Practices and Live-data translation modules run in production, as do the AI features built into the Action Plan, Analytics, Complaints, Audits and controlled documentation. Defect reduction (real-time anomaly detection) is in pilot operation with a planned release in autumn 2026.
Yes. AI features are optional, and modules work in full without AI, just without assistance. The AI methodology guide in the Action Plan can be switched off for the whole plant at any time - control and decisions always stay with people.
No. AI suggests and alerts, but the decision and approval stay with a human. In the Best Practices module, every suggestion also cites the source it is based on.
Your own data - SOPs, audits, resolved cases, reports and production metrics. Models are validated by backtesting on your history, not on generic data.
Yes. AI runs within the iDomino platform (ISO 27001, GDPR, European servers). Your data is not sent to third parties to train models.
Want to see AI in iDomino?
We'll show you both production modules live for 60 minutes and the pilot of AI scrap analytics, plus how AI helps inside audits, action plans and documents. No slides, on real data.
